TWN Annual Meeting

Please register for this year’s Annual Conference in Oslo.

The dates are 25th to 29th September 2016

This year is a joint meeting between members of
The Workplace Network and the Public Real Estate
Network for Europe.

It offers you the chance to meet and learn from your peers around the world – up to 30 organisations
could be represented – all engaged in the work of
owning and managing public real estate – providing
offices for ministries, departments and agencies of
government as well as infrastructure, heritage, law
enforcement and education buildings, and land, and
a whole range of other types of property.

The challenges we face are similar everywhere.
Attending this Conference is one of the best ways to
make connections and learn from others’
experience; an investment of time that members find
pays back many times over in years to come.

Public Sector Asset
Management – Research Report

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – the worldwide body for property and estates professionals – has just published a report on its research into public sector asset management.

A number of member organisations took part in the research, and the findings form the basis for this year’s W4 meeting theme.

New Code of Practice on Smart Working

Last year the UK Government Property Unit sponsored development of a new National
Code of Practice on Smart Working.

This grew out of its long term drive to introduce modern flexible workplaces and smart agile ways of working to the UK Civil Service. The Code of Practice has been
adopted by Government and will set the standard for offices, IT and modern working culture.
